Galahad’s reference is the Rebellion from the Order 1886 Game series The Order: 1886 is a third-person action-adventure video game developed by Ready at Dawn. Set in an 1886 alternate-history steampunk London, the game follows the legendary Knights of the Round Table as they battle to keep the world safe from half-breeds, such as werewolves and vampires, as well as fringe organizations rebelling against the government. Grayson, formerly known as Sir Galahad, is the main protagonist in The Order: 1886. He was a Knight of The Order before being convicted of sedition against the establishment. The Rebellion is a faction and an enemy type. It was formed by Lakshmi Bai to counter The United India Company; a trading company that had seized control of the East Indies. Its members consist of low-class citizens and immigrants. Prior to 1886, they moved operations to London near The Company's headquarters. During this period, The Rebellion used a brothel located in the district of Whitechapel as its own headquarters. They planned to sabotage Company shipments that secretly transported Half Breeds across the globe. They continuously attempted to eliminate Hastings; one of The Company's courts of directors and an influential figure of The Order. Unknown to the public, he was secretly a vampire and the serial killer "Jack the Ripper", who would prey on prostitutes linked to The Rebellion's brothel. In the public eye, The Rebellion were viewed as terrorists. They planted explosives in the Agamemnon, a Company airship, and set crates on fire at the Company's docks, unknowingly killing two undercover Anarchists. They began to clash with Scotland Yard and The Order. At some point prior to these events, Lakshmi came in contact with Nikola Tesla, who agreed to supply her with weapons to fend off the police, The Order, and the Half-Breed rampage caused by The Company in Whitechapel. Later, they were able to convince Grayson, a Knight of the Round Table, to join their cause.
