Observation
I was made different. I was not sculpted from the same mud nor derived from the same filth. Look at me: golden, radiant, preserved in perfection. I was chosen. Destined. But, look at those around. Unworthy. Cloaked in ornaments of deception, decorations for creatures who have no substance beneath them.
Mine is a crown - a polished blue to contrast my gold. Divinity is not given, it is seized. I will strip away their falsehoods, peeling back their lies, until only I remain. I will be the one they remember.
