Observation
In my mind I hold the past; a totem of a soul sleeping
Eyes shielded, I stare.
Imagining the strength these two carry,
To choose to be seen
In my arm I hold the future; a new world is forming.
Eyes open as I practice; the weight of responsibility
New and yet familiar, as if etched into my blood
Like a face once studied within a dream
In my heart I hold all things;
A cauldron of life before and within me
The present moment spanning eons as I wonder...
Will I be brave enough to take off this mask?
