Mask of the Fallen Warrior
A warrior’s mask lingers in the rot of a dying tree, stripped of its bearer, hollowed of purpose. Once, it stood against the tide, but now it rests among ruins, outlasting the hands that wielded it.
Vow-breaking clowns wade in the muck, white knight whores circle above, preying on the faithful, turning wisdom into gold-plated refuse.
The masquerade persists, the cycle repeats
And all that remains of the fight is this:
A hollowed face, staring from the bark of a withering world.
