Long-caged bird, finally free, torn between the comfort of the family nest and taking its first flight. Surely bound to fall yet as you noted, there is beauty in the struggle of self-discovery and learning as well as growing through mistakes.

The vines are our Adam's birdcage bars, restricting him from leaving the safety of the place he's called home. However if he extricates himself and discovers the jungle below, his fall may be more than just literal.

Up high extending his hand towards the divine, pure and innocent, he does not need to wear another face. If he falls to the jungle floor, that will change.
