In The Monument Game, they watched from a safe distance—now, they stand exposed, their gaze heavy with exhaustion, guilt, and resignation. No longer an outsider, Luci is consumed by the ritual. Their struggle against deception and assimilation has taken its toll. Knowledge has replaced innocence, revealing harsh truths about society. Masquerade presents a sobering realization: to truly see the world is to lose the comfort of ignorance.
