Observation

A last minute observation in the darkest corner. Why? It contains the limits of time and vision shaping this Masquerade. Think of this: staring at the sun and soon a black spot forms—darker than any room, within the brightest light. Or this: filling a glass with the entire ocean and I say it is as impossible as grasping infinity within a human mind bound by time. Any amount of truth requires a certain amount of unknowing. May we enter a stage of undoing, ceding time and vision to reveal understanding.

Amazing how time is experienced so differently. The midday vs nighttime, even though it is all happening simultaneously. The painting somehow shrinks time, compresses it. You can revisit, see a mom of masks and her children at once, if only you stand back

Multiple observations pointing out this woman’s freedom and abandon. But I’m wondering if its as lighthearted as others are suggesting. Seems to me she’s swinging away from something horrible. Maybe this trad wife movement went a little too far
