SIM_Scenery works depict 'the scenery of purgatory', an afterlife space between heaven and hell, before life and death. SIM_Scenery, starting from the analog production process, is completed digitally rather than as a physical original that can be destroyed. The scenery of purgatory is made by imitating the appearance of the present world, and 030 SIM_Scenery shows purgatory in the form of '아픔(痛み, Pain)'. 단 한 순간 모든 관계를 상실했던 작가의 개인적인 경험으로부터 출발한 ‘아픔의 연옥’ 030 SIM_Scenery. 삶의 상실과 이별의 아픔을 땅에서 살을 떼어내는 고통의 구조로 표현했다.
