LONELY OTAKU NFT ART a parody of a parody by Sun-Min + David This will be the only SUPER PUNCHER / LONELY OTAKU piece minted as an NFT. Lonely Otaku encapsulates Sun-Min + David's time spent at all Tokyo based locations of Mandarake in Japan, from 2002 to 2019, where they built their army of sofubi kaiju and 90's DX CHOgoKIN die cast robots. Through their accumulation of such objects, they had the privilege of interfacing with otaku at the highest levels, and earned an appreciation for the passion behind "collecting", culminating in the realization that gathering such objects had nothing to do with "buying" or "collecting" anything at all, but ran far deeper into the human psyche and flew straight into in the face of that which science refers to as dominance hierarchy. This NFT transfers and assigns ownership of not just the original work of art, but of Sun-Min + David's LONELY OTAKU and SUPER PUNCHER character. Please note: SUPER PUNCHER is a parody of existing IP found in Japanese Popular culture, and may not be exploited as consumer products or story telling vehicles in media. Producing products based on SUPER PUNCHER may result in financial loss. That said... you now own him. But will he own you? No way, right? NOTE: The photo in the background is of a popular used toy shop chain in Japan and this transfer of ownership does not include the elements found in the photographic aspect of this work of art and parody.
