#115 Shugoran "the Herald of Death" is an Avatar of the Outer God Nyarlathotep created by H.P. Lovecraft contemporary Henry Kuttner, although it has since been expanded on by several other authors including T. E. D. Klein in his short story "A Black Man with a Saxophone". Shugoran is a gigantic hybrid deformed black creature with fins and a long trunk, often mistaken for a war horn or phallus. it's image usually appears in ritual vestments of the "Tcho-Tcho" people. It's fundamental attack method is very similar to that of Chaugnar Faugn: through a hypnotic attack he attracts his victim to him, then places his trunk on the individual's chest and sucks the blood out of him.
