Muadakan er Sarrha was once a small-time trader of grain and honey, transporting goods across the sun-baked lands of the Sarrha to coastal markets. But on one of his journeys, he happened upon a shining object in the sand - a Leviathan shard. On picking it up, he became the first Illuminated One, and was consumed by warm, shimmering flames. Now ostracized by the Musafir, who believe him to be possessed by a demon, he roams the Sarrha, defending hapless travelers from beasts and brigands alike with his flames and his staff.
