Æthrean was a journeyman vine-scribe, deeply devoted to the craft of training various plants into useful shapes like bridges, walls, and even homes, before he became bonded to a Leviathan shard. Suddenly he was able to accelerate and control the growth of nearby plants in ways unknown even to master vine-scribes, and found himself a revered and honored figure. Profoundly shy, he is extremely uncomfortable with his celebrity, and has taken to scribing intricate and beautiful structures in remote and secluded places.
