Sivvos is one of the few worlds to have survived a visit by the Chimera of Fear, though the damage wrought to the psyches of its sentient population still reverberates. One reason the Valposh have been able to recover from their encounter is the discovery of several Leviathan shards - including one that bonded to Avan. Suddenly immune to the effects of the Chimera and now glowing with an ethereal radiance, Avan was able to help shield and calm the minds of others nearby, and fend off the Chimera’s psychic feeding frenzy.
