The origin of the horde of giant, frenzied chickens known as The Coop is shrouded in mystery, perhaps lost forever. It is known that at some point they appeared on earth, where they were involved in a catastrophic event that resulted in carnage and saw The Coop forcibly relocated to an empty world, where they presumably would cease to be a danger. But at some point, they discovered how to launch their gargantuan and horribly mutated eggs across the vast distances of space, beginning the cycle anew.
