Corundum the Barbican is the leader of a small, isolated settlement of Mrn-Mrrhmr ore-delvers and salvagers. While working the mine one day, he happened upon a sparkly, shiny object: a Leviathan shard. Now able to store and refract sunlight in a variety of ways, Corundum has mostly put his power to use acting as a living mining lamp while delving, a habit that has earned him the nickname "Old Shinyguts".
