Shawna was taking a quiet smoke break and dodging her weirdo coworkers out by the dumpsters behind the BiG iNC Conveni-Mart, when suddenly she found that all of her clothes - and her cigarette - had disintegrated. After accidentally vaporizing the back door of the Convini-Mart in an effort to hide, she quickly realized that anything she touched was instantly broken into its component elements. Fortunately, carbon atoms adhere to her skin through static attraction, giving her some degree of modesty, but also tending to make her look like a living silhouette, which led to her new nickname: "Carbon."
