
Peace is a tender thing, easily held, easily lost. It rests in our hands for a heartbeat, then loosens like light at dusk. We close our fingers around its warmth, and find only absence. Yet even in the emptiness, something within us opens again. For though peace slips from our grasp, we are made to reach for it once more.
