The Neverhood Font lowercase h! This little h was grown in the fertile strawberry fields of Irvine California. Little h possesses bold rich tannins and intense complex visual flavor. This collection contains each upper and lowercase letter, as well as symbols and numbers, from the original hand-crafted Neverhood font. This font is based on the chicken-scratch handwriting of The Neverhood creator Doug TenNapel. I had Doug write out many pages of letters then I chose the most interesting pieces, manipulating, cutting and splicing certain elements of each letter to capture his overall style. It was used in many ways, including on Letterhead, T-Shirts, the Neverhood logo itself, as well as in the game's entire Wall of Records. I am the original designer Joe D. Potter. In addition to the font I also designed the Neverhood game packaging and the Neverhood logo. As Doug's best man at his wedding, I remember well during the sacred ceremony when Doug leaned down and whispered "I want you to make me a font based on my terribly sad handwriting that we can then use for all things Neverhood... I do."
