This character's ARTTOY was created and sold in 2007-2008. I had drawn many rough sketches of the gorilla, wondering what shape it would take if I tried to sculpt it with my own touch. When I went to a meeting with the maker of ARTTOY at a company, the president of that company mentioned the gorilla by chance. We thought that this might be some kind of fate, and we talked about creating a gorilla character as an ARTTOY, and the project was launched, as I remember. This design will be a BONGA KONGA with a design inspired by ancient ruins and hieroglyphics.
