**Secret Artist #15 — How do you know Skystar?** Skystar was known for two things. One of them was ripping up the road in his motorbike. When Skystar drove along the highways, you heard him before you saw him. And when you saw him, it wasn’t for long. If you managed to get a glimpse, it was always the same. Pink shades, a long purple coat billowing in the wind behind him, and a giant afro which barely moved (despite him driving full throttle). Cyberbikes had been built to be quieter than their fossil fuel predecessors, but retro never went out of fashion, so many, like Skystar, had modded their cyberbikes until their new engines roared just like the old days. Unlike the bikes of the past though, Skystar’s bike was covered in neon lights which would glow brighter the faster he drove. As you can imagine, Skystar’s neons glowed pretty damn brightly. Skystar was known for two things. One of them was ripping up the road in his motorbike. The other was tearing up the floor in the local Retrowave Disco. When he’d pull up his bike outside, the bouncer would immediately unclip the neon rope leading into the club. They’d give each other an unsmiling nod as Skystar entered. Guys and girls would swoon and ask to take his coat. The dancefloor cleared of anyone who didn’t mean business. There were never any lame dance-offs or anything like that, but if you were going to stay on the floor while Skystar was tearing it up, you’d better be able to at least *try* to keep up. Those who couldn’t, watched from the sidelines with a mix of jealousy and admiration. When Skystar had finished and went to the bar, he was usually surrounded by beautiful people offering to buy him a drink. They would shout compliments over the music, drink, dance and repeat. At the end of the night, he and the bouncer would again exchange nods as they left. Often, Skystar was not alone, so he helped his new friend on to the back of his cyberbike. Sometimes, he could even squeeze two passengers on there. Then, they’d go back to his penthouse apartment overlooking the cybercityscape. He’d show them around his place before ending the tour in his bedroom.
