Katya Lesiv Born in 1993 in Khmelnytskyi – graduated from NAOMA with a master degree in graphic design. She works mainly in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi, participates in all-Ukraine and international exhibitions and residencies. In her work, she touches upon the topics of physicality, emotional and sensory experience, motherhood. She works in various media genres such as artbook, object, installation, photography, drawing, video. Her particular interest is the exhibition of a book as an object in a space. The artbook “Lullaby 1” belongs to the world’s top-100 photobooks “How We See: Photobooks by Women” according to 10×10 Photobooks. Within the “Ukrsuchphoto” (Ukrainian contemporary photography) Award, she was selected a nominee in the category “Discovery of the Year”.
