My life changed in 2021. At the beginning of the year I was just like any other struggling musician. I was being scrappy and doing what I had to do to make ends meet, even if the tasks weren’t as creatively fulfilling as I might have liked. During that struggle I found solace in creating: I made an EP called Overstimulated that served as my personal commentary of dealing with the overwhelming nature that is being an artist in today’s music industry. In a spur of the moment decision, I decided to 180 my career and go all in on Web3 tooling to promote the project I was most proud of. And it worked. Since then I’ve raised 50 ETH to fund the project, got a page in TIME magazine, met some of my favorite artists (who are now some of my closest collaborators), and I've felt more creatively liberated than I've ever been. I’ve also been able to take on larger scale creative project. Starting with a short film for Overstimulated felt like the most natural cadence for me. Without further ado and on behalf of the of the $OVERSTIM community, I present to you the Overstimulated short film. This is a visual representation of the project that changed my life.
