Mickey's Willie Smasher is a conceptual art project exploring the relationship between public goods and public domain. The 'Dick Smasher' is a hypothetical amusement park proposed on Tumblr in 2013. With the recent entrance of Steamboat Willie into the public domain, there is no better moment to consider creating Mickey's Willie Smasher. A total of 2,222 Willie Smasher schematics are provided in this mint with unique metadata, designs, and text. Other utility is intentionally omitted for others to interpret. This project launched on Jan 1, 2024 locking in its historical connection to the freedom of Steamboat Willie.
